Pazo de La Cuesta

Pazo de La Cuesta

Winemaking in Galicia, in particular the sacred river banks of Ribeira Sacra, dates back to the monks of Roman times.  For Pazo de La Cuesta, first references of the family Pazo, its farm, vineyards, and winery can be found in the family archives, dating back to 1416.

The Pazo de La Cuesta estate spans over 40 hectares of oak and pine forest, gardens, orchards, olive groves, and vineyards. Today the winery is in the hands of Manuel Bellod Álvarez de Lorenzana, part of the 14th generation of the family who is committed to preserving the history and winemaking traditions of Pazo de La Cuesta.
