Pazo Señorans

Pazo Señorans

Pazo Señorans is a family run winery started by husband-and-wife Marisol Bueno and Javier Mareque in 1989.  Marisol and Javier were instrumental in the development and formation of the DO Rías-Baixas.  The vines are located in the Val do Salnes sub-zone, with the winery, a former 16th century estate acquired in 1979, situated in the town of Meis.  Roughly 18.5 hectares of Albariño vines are cultivated on a pergola system and spread through different plots about ten km from the ocean.  At present their four children, Marisol, Vicky, Javier and Santiago are in charge of all operations.  The winemaker is Ana Quintela Suárez.
