While origins of the Remelluri estate date back to the 10th century, the modern winery was established in 1967 by Jaime Rodríguez Salís, who began acquiring and restoring abandoned vineyards to make wine and return the estate to its original purpose.
In 2009, siblings Telmo and Amaia Rodríguez took over the operations of the estate to continue the vision and work towards realizing its full potential. Remelluri continues to build on its reputation for world class, single estate reservas and gran reservas, tintos and blancos that express the particular terruño of the place. Remelluri releases its wines after long cellar aging. Additional aging and patience are beautifully rewarded.
