This white wine was introduced by the Real de Asúa brothers in 1915. From a five hectare parcel of high-alt. Viura vines in Villalba de Rioja, this white wine is aged for eight months on the fine lees in seasoned oak barrels and sherry botas (casks). Barrels are topped up with Manzanilla from the Hidalgo family in Sanlúcar. Toasted almond, chamomile, quince, mineral and saline.
