An exhilarating expression of the village of La Aguilera, a bona fide beauty elevating the Reserva style from a stellar vintage.  Made from mostly high alt. (880m) Tempranillo and other native grapes that were co-planted 85 years ago. Whole cluster fermentation on the lees, matured in French oak for almost 3 years. A wine of nuanced tension, texture and length. Coiled tannins, fine backbone and balanced acidity – wild forest herbal, licorice, violets and pearls.
