Silky tinto from winemaker Francesc Boronat working on some scenic Catalan terruño - rolling hills and fresh sea breezes.  The fruit comes from slate and calcareous clay soils. Vines are bush-trained. Grapes are hand-harvested, whole cluster, fermentation and aging in stainless on the fine lees, 4 months maturation.  Red and black fruits, spice and earth, pleasant acidity, expressive, full and scrumptious.
