Bodega Castro y Magán Tendal Rosado 2021, La Palma

From a small, artisanal winery founded by husband and wife oenologists Nancy Castro Rodríguez and Constancio Ballesteros Magán on the northwestern part of the island of La Palma dedicated to heroic, mountain viticulture. This rosado is fashioned from pie franco vines planted on high alt. terraces.  Brief cold maceration, pneumatic pressing, fermentation in temp. controlled stainless steel vats, aged inside the natural caves for a few months.  Bright red berries, smoky, salty, mineral - volcanic marvel.
