Second label house red blend from the renowned winery, from younger vines growing on schist soils.  Daphne Glorian’s winemaking has been ever-evolving, becoming more expressive and nuanced with each vintage.  Grapes are hand-harvested, natural yeast fermentation in a combination oak, concrete egg and clay amphorae, aged for 16-18 months in French oak tanks, concrete vats, neutral French oak barrels, and clay amphorae.  Full and fleshy with nice acidity and subtle tannins, deep dark cherry and black fruit, spicy and toasty, mineral-driven - quintessential.
