Yet another Ismael Gozalo high-alt. verdejo expression from ungrafted, pre-phylloxera vines sourced near Segovia.  The grapes get the full Gozalo treatment – cold maceration in amphorae, fermentation with native yeasts, carbonic maceration.   Long skin contact aging (6 months) and of course, bottled unfined, unfiltered, and zero SO2.  Intense on the orange wine spectrum, full throttle bomba, tropical, laced with pineapple and grapefruit – layered, earthy and very natty.
