The winery was created in 1987 by hotelier and restauranteur Gonzalo Antón and associates in the village of Villabuena de Álava.  El Regalo is the crown jewel of Izadi’s wine portfolio, a single parcel (3.85 Ha) from vines planted in 1936.  Deep, full-bodied, ripe dark fruit, smoky and spicy, toasted oak, fine grained tannins and grip, structure and power – bold Rioja.
