“Mon Dieu!” exclaimed French winemaker Denis Dubordieu upon first tasting the vermouths from the Usarralde brothers in 2010.  Crafted from a base of seventy-five year-old vines from Rioja baja (Oriental), which are macerated on its own lees for 60 months in French foudres. A medley of 40 botanicals is included in the family recipe including Dittany of Crete, iris root, Ceylon cinnamon, wormwood, and Madagascar cloves.  Aged balsamic, cola, vanilla, oak – bittersweet, complex.
