Brothers Fernando and Esteban Banús hail from a family who has been distilling spirits since 1887.  They took over one of their father’s distilleries in 1993 to create BLAT Vodka, made in Gran Canaria.  The Blat (wheat) is sourced from France, and the distillate is diluted by horizontal Atlantic rainwater seeping through volcanic rocks, with a distinct Atlantic air.
