A winemaking nod to the past of using the totality of the terruño-driven grapes of the past in the style of a clarete. Ojo de Gallo is made up of mostly older vines of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Bobal, Monastrell, Viura, Albillo, and Malvasia. Co-fermented in concrete tanks, eight months in used barrels - bouncy and light with backbone, bio-d but not natty, spicy berry plus tannins from the Garnacha leave you with lip smacking satisfaction.
