Ever-evolving, the old vines concierto that Álvaro Palacios has been conducting for nearly thirty-five years continues to amaze in its integration of style and vintage variation. Mostly Garnacha with a bit of Cariñena, a smidge of Picapoll (for acidity) and a smattering of white grapes. Partial whole cluster with native yeasts and a month-long maceration.  Intense, spicy, earthy, violets and licorice – a boom box of Priorat.
