This Tondonia benefits greatly from this excellent vintage, responsible for many long-lived, outstanding tintos from Haro. Although not technically a Reserva or Gran Reserva, LDH often exceeds DOCa minimums for aging both in barrel and bottle, as is evident with this Crianza. Revealing all the best elements of classic Rioja from this estate – smoke and spice, sweet black fruits, blood orange, tobacco and smoke – drink it and weep.
