José Luis Mateo feels right at home among the steep slopes of Monterrei, rescuing abandoned terraces, producing some wonderfully savory and succulent wines.  This regional blend is ine third whole cluster, fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, one month skin maceration, and aged for one year in stainless steel and concrete tanks. Bright red fruit, tart cherry, herbal, crunchy, stony, mineral with pleasant acidity - sensational.
