A layered and juicy tinto from Jon Peñagaricano, son of the founder, Juan Akutain, that straddles the alta expression (modern)/traditional line. From two parcels, aged for 21 months in French oak, followed by a year of rest in bottle. Ripe plums and concentrated berries, fine-grained tannins, tobacco, chalky, nice acidity - liquid velvet.
