Red wine harkening back to the traditional solera system using chestnut barrels for long aging and slow oxygen promotion. The base wine is over 30 years old, so the style is oxidized and fortified. Slow evaporation concentrates the wine. Honeyed, nutty, figgy, orange, herbal, saline with sharp acidity.
