Masterful wines from Juan Antonio Ponce out of Castilla-La Mancha since 2005.  This ungrafted, old vines Bobal thrives in biodiversity and yields a deeply satisfying tinto of substantial weight and tension.  Aged for nine months in large French oak foudres adding complexity and lift.  Crushed red berries, brambly, Mediterranean herb and spice market - value supreme.
