Frontio is a small, but mighty winery located near the Portuguese-Spanish border in the town of Fermoselle, Zamora. It’s run by Danish native Thyge Jensen, who quit his corporate job in 2016 to make wine from abandoned vineyards. The fruit for Follaco is selected from old vines of an obscure grape growing on granite soils. Juicy, sour cherry, herbal – distinctive pleasure.
